Review of Creatures All Tonight

Gordon B. Isnor has apparently been making waves in his hometown of Vancouver, BC ( that’s Canada folks ) because his press kit says he has played with heavy hitters like Teamworker, Cape May, and gold and platinum artists Canned Hamm so with a resume’ like that it’s no wonder that Gordon is as cocksure as he is . Ok, enough sarcasm , this is a good record and Gordon goes from flamenco-guitar inflected tunes to quirky synth pop and it all sounds ….well, like Gordon. The guy seems a bit art-damaged (like maybe he spent too much time hanging out with Naduwar ???) but for all I know maybe he’s never touched a drug in his life. “Always Come Back” would be a hit at both weddings AND bar mitzvahs and CREATURES ALL TONIGHT is oddly endearing.
